ApplicationError with AJAX: ASP.Net 2.0 AJAX Install problems

Hey all... I really hope that someone can help me out here...
I have downloaded and MSI package and have un-installed all previous versions of "Atlas"

When I try to install the MSI package, however, all I get is the following:
"ASP.Net 2.0 AJAX Extensions Setup Wizard ended prematurely"

Then it tells me that there was an error... when I look at the install log there is no error information.
When I look at the event log it simply states that the MSI install failed

The really odd thing is that the Microsoft ASP.Net folder (under C:\Program Files) gets created and then deleted.

Is there some trick or seceret to install this?
Is there some way to find out what it causing the error or why it isn't installing?

The server is running the following:
OS: Window Server 2003
VS: Visual Studio 2005 SP1 Beta
.Net: 2.0 Framework
Install is local and I am the admin on the machine

What iscatastr￠fico? Is it the name of youre machine? or part of a directoryname? I ask, because the ms-installer has sometimes problems with specialcharacters.

Error catastr￠ficois really "Error catastrófico" since my operative system is in spanish. It was a cut'n paste error. Sorry for that. Embarrassed . BTW, my problem is not resolved yet Confused .
