ASP.NET Ajax CTP version and .NET 3.0?

Does anybody know if the CTP version of the ASP.NET Ajax works with .NET 3.0?

It should work Since basic framework(CLR version) used by both ASP.NET AJAX and .NET3.0 is .NET 2.0.
