appliesTo Attribute not found

Just remove the appliesTo attribute. It was a beta 2 thing that's not needed now that ASP.NET 2.0 shippped.

Actually, am still using the Beta 2 version. And there's no atribute called "appliesTo" in the default web.config file ... so, what would the problem exactly be ?

So it's the inverse problem: you're using a version of Atlas that does not support beta 2. If I may, I suggest you move on to the final version. We don't support beta 2 anymore.
